Simplicity 4998 Toddler Play Dress Panties Vintage Pattern 1940's

Simplicity 4998 Vintage Sewing Pattern - 1940's toddler dress & panties vintage sewing pattern.  Pattern is unprinted.  Transfer is included.

The dress features a shoulder yoke, short puffed sleeves and a double Peter Pan collar. Style I is trimmed with three rows of smocking in the front and ruffling outlines the collar and cuffs. The dress is finished with tie ends which fasten in the back. Style II, which may be made of a sheer fabric, has one row of smocking in the front. The collar is trimmed with ruffling and the sleeve edges are finished with bias binding. In Style III, the dress front gathers to the yoke. A transfer design for smocking is included.
